Under the guidance of SINOMACH-HE coordinating strategy of science, industry and trade, recently, the good news from the installing site of CHMC undertaken by Chengdu Heavy Machinery came repeatedly, which is three converting stations have been electrified once and for all.

At 11:15 p.m. on July 1st, warm applause could be heard from the main control room of the converting station of Ratanak Kiri, for celebrating the successful impact of 230kV main transformer, marking that the newly established Ratanak Kiri 230Kv converting station was successfully electrified and put into operation. The operation of this converting station greatly improved the local electricity transmission. Since the project was started, the project team kept high spirit in the working by continuing to upgrade security measures, strictly monitor the process quality and efficiently press ahead with construction work.

Sesan 230Kv hydropower station GIS extension converting station is the contralateral station of Ratanak Kiri, the first of its kind for Chengdu Heavy Machinery. In order to successfully crack the hard bone, the project team made full preparation for launching a hard campaign by committing to the frontiers for addressing the problems on site in time and providing solid guarantee for smooth transmission of electricity of Ratanak Kiri, in defiance of hot weather and other hazards.

At 1:28 p.m. on July 9th, the humming of the main transformer of Kompong Thom 230kV following immediately after the clicking of the mouse of the operator marked the success of the impact of the transformer. The operation of the Kompong Thom 230Kv station not only met the needs of electricity development in Kompong Thom province but also created favorable conditions for transmission of electricity to Phnom Penh.
