On the project field site of Ethiopia, the rod and wire steel rolling project with annual production of 150,000 tons undertaken by CHMC (a trading subsidiary of SINOMACH-HE) was awarded with the pre-acceptance certificate, marking that the project officially entered the guarantee period of quality.

The rod and wire steel rolling project is the first of its kind in Dire Dawa, Ethiopia. The completion of this project has filled the void and significantly eased the needs of rod and wire in the local market. Meanwhile, the project is the first one successfully carried out by SINOMACH-HE in the market of Ethiopia. The smooth completion of project acceptance has laid a solid foundation in Ethiopia for further market expansion.

Since the project entered into hot commissioning on December 28th 2019, all project staff worked actively for ensuring good prevention and control of epidemic outbreak as well as implementation of project in a detailed way, assisting the client in completing all evaluation and acceptance of the project. The client has spoken highly of the work progress and equipment quality of the project.
