On the 15th October, Laos Nam Ngum 4 hydropower station was successfully dammed.The general manager and chief financial officer of CHMC, the subsidiary of SINOMACH-HE, and the deputy general manager and other leaders concerned  in Laos National Electric Company attended the closure ceremony.

As the last truck of building materials was put into the river, the hydropower project was successfully cut off, marking the dam project had entered the main construction phase.
