Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, attending the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, met with President Lu Wenjun of SINOMACH-HE on April 28th .

 Lu Wenjun introduced the implementation of power station investment and EPC project of electric transmission and transformation by SINOMACH-HE in Cambodia. Lu Wenjun said, thanks to the kind attention from Prime Minister Hun Sen since 2007, and with full support from the government institutions at different levels of both Cambodia and China, SINOMACH-HE has been collaborating with Electricity Authority of Cambodia(EDC) all these years over major construction projects including the BOT project of Tatay Hydropower Station, multiple trunk circuits and substation of EDC and extension of rural power grid, contributing to rapid development of the economy of Cambodia.

 Prime Minister Hun Sen highly applauded the role of SINOMACH-HE in promoting the power infrastructure building of Cambodia, perfecting the state electric grid distribution and improving the power supply capacity. Prime Minister Hun Sen welcomed the project construction plan put forward by SINOMACH-HE, suggesting that both sides should enhance mutual communication for better cooperation.
